Nazmul Hoque, Assistant Professor & Head, department of Music, has been working in this institution since 2019. He has completed his M.A. in Political Science from Rabindrabharati University in 1994. He has also completed his M.A. in Vocal Music from the same University in 1997. He got the scheme of financial assistance for promotion and dissemination of Tribal folk and culture from Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi in 1999. He had presented folksongs in abroad various times. Moreover, he is a regular artist of Doordarshan and Akashvani Kolkata. He was awarded by honorary “Sangeet Samman” award in 2019 from the Covernment of West Bengal. He has two publications to his name.
