Udaynarayanpur belongs to the ancient state of Bhurishrestha Kingdom and it has a rich heritage which we deeply value. Keeping in mind the history and tradition of this locality, it is our sustained endeavor to improve the standard of higher education in our institution. Despite financial stringency, infrastructural problems and shortage of faculty members, we had valiantly appeared for and achieved accreditation by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in 2016. After being successfully accredited by NAAC, we are looking forward to working on improving the quality of our students. We would like our students to achieve basic communicative skills and acquire meaningful knowledge on their respective subjects. Modern teaching aids and methods are being introduced to adapt the teaching staff and the students with modern pedagogic technology. We have arrangements for power point presentation of class lectures through LCD projectors in our classroom. Free Wi-fi facilities are also available in the college. We believe it would encourage our students to use internet facilities to improve their knowledge. We are constantly working for larger use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the institution. The process of digitizing and cataloguing of library books has been completed. We hope it would help our students immensely. We hope a new Boys' Common Room and a renovated canteen for the staff and the students will be ready by the middle of 2022.

The introduction of the B.Sc. course has opened up a great opportunity for the students of this locality. We offer a variety of subject combinations in B.Sc. (General) course with subjects from Pure Science Group, Home Science Group and Humanities/Arts Group with Mathematics Honours under B.Sc. course. The introduction of certain new subjects is under process. Once we receive the necessary approvals, we could offer even more programmes for study to the students. We invite all concerned to take this opportunity for building their careers.

Replacing CBCS curriculum CCF 2022 curriculum under NEP 2020 has been introduced in the UG course structure from 2023-24 academic session. Among other novelties of the new system, Summer Internships for 3 year MDC has been made mandatory for improving employable skills of the students. Moreover, 4 year Honours and 4 year Honours with Research courses are also introduced for encouraging research activities among UG students.

We look forward to creating opportunities and facilities for the all-round development of our students. To attain this, we need co-operation from all stakeholders, including guardians, students, staff, alumni, academicians and well-wishers.
